About Mediavention Inc.
Started in April 2001 and based in Canada�s technology triangle Mediavention Inc. began with the goal to create a video application for coaches based on basic laptop computers and web cameras. The product was called MotionCoach and it has revolutionized the use of visual analysis in education. Used in 14 countries for a wide range of applications including, Golf, Gymnastics, Tennis, Music, Language, and special needs.
Late in 2004 Mediavention Inc. was contacted to develop a generic software video interface API that captured video from a variety of video sources from screen scrapping to multiplexed video sources. Since this contract Mediavention Inc. has expanded its contract and consulting operations and works with a varied range of clients developing new applications solving technology problems.
